Matthias Wellhausen, banking Professional and graduated economist, has gathered broad experience as Financial Leader in various renowned companies before deciding in 2022 to offer his capacities through his own company.

He began his career at the Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein (Kiel), followed by different management positions in Finance and Controlling at IBM (Stuttgart and Paris) during 10 years.

In 1996 he changed to the steel-industry as CFO of Ekostahl in Eisenhuettenstadt. A large turnaround investment project and financing were some of the successfully mastered tasks.

With the merger into Arcelor and ArcelorMittal he moved to Luxembourg, leading projects on synergies, integration and M&A. After 2012 he was CFO in the listed companies of ArcelorMittal South Africa (Vanderbijlpark) and Schmolz&Bickenbach (Luzern). In both companies he was steering as executive through the operational and financial challenges of the extraordinarily volatile market environment.
